2026 ANDALUSIAN LAWN BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Further to FAB Circular No. 0290 of 6 October 2026 and Supplementary Circular No. 0292 of 15 October 2026, and following withdrawals, replacements and organisational adjustments communicated after publication of the latter, the Andalusian Bowling Federation hereby issues this Second Supplementary Circular in order to publish the updated competition draws and playing programme.
The annexes accompanying this Circular replace the corresponding annexes published with Circular No. 0292. All provisions of Circulars Nos. 0290 and 0292 which are not expressly amended by this Circular remain in force.
1 – VENUE AND COMPETITION DATES
The venue remains unchanged:
CABRERA LAWN BOWLS CLUB – ALMERIA
The Championships will take place from:
SATURDAY 31 OCTOBER TO FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2026
The green will be available for practice from 10.00 am on Saturday 31 October, with official competition commencing at 2.30 pm.
2 – AMENDMENTS TO ENTRIES AND COMPETITION DRAWS
Since publication of Circular No. 0292, a number of withdrawals, replacements and consequent adjustments to the draws have been notified by the organisers. The updated draws attached to this Circular reflect the composition of the competition at the time of publication.
In Ladies’ Pairs, the entry involving Jean Smallwood has subsequently been withdrawn and replaced by Penny Craig and Sandra Marriott.
Further replacements may still be required where a player has to withdraw for a legitimate reason. Where such a replacement is permitted under the applicable competition rules, the organisers may incorporate it into the relevant draw.
3 – STATUS OF PLAYER NAMES AND REPLACEMENTS
The player names shown in the attached draws correspond to the entries and replacements communicated to the FAB at the time this Circular is issued.
Where permitted under the applicable competition rules, a player may subsequently withdraw for legitimate reasons and be replaced. Accordingly, the names appearing in the draws should be regarded as the current composition of each event on the date of publication and may be amended by duly authorised replacements where necessary.
Such replacements will not require a new Circular provided that they do not alter the official dates, playing times or structure of the competition. Any change affecting the official playing programme, dates or times must be communicated through the official channels of the FAB and the relevant Provincial Delegations.

5 – UPDATED COMPETITION DRAWS
The following updated documents are attached to this Circular and replace the corresponding annexes previously published with Circular No. 0292:
Annex VII: General Playing Programme
The attached draws constitute the current official competition draws as at the date of publication, subject only to any replacements permitted under the applicable competition rules.
6 – PLAYING TIMES AND REPORTING FOR MATCHES
All players must comply with the dates and times established in the updated General Playing Programme and in the corresponding competition draws.
Players, clubs and Provincial Delegations are requested to carefully check the new annexes, as these replace the versions previously circulated.
Any subsequent change affecting a scheduled match time or date must be communicated to the players concerned and through the appropriate federation channels with as much notice as reasonably possible.
7 – COMMUNICATION AND CIRCULATION
This Circular and its annexes replace the previously published competition draws and playing programme contained in the annexes to Circular No. 0292.
Provincial Delegations and all participating clubs are requested to give this Circular and its annexes the widest possible circulation and to ensure that all participating players are made aware that they must consult this updated version.
For the avoidance of doubt, players and clubs should no longer rely on the previous versions of the competition draws.
This Circular constitutes the official communication of the Andalusian Bowling Federation regarding the updated draws and playing programme for the 2026 Andalusian Lawn Bowls Championships.
