LAWN BOWLS NEWS: ALMERIA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 LADIES PAIRS

On 24/25 November the F.A.B. (Almeriense) Ladies Pairs took place at Cabrera Lawn Bowling Club.

By sheer coincidence in the first round Maureen Milsom and Linda Harvey from Indalo met Maureen De Boer and Linda Lester, also from Indalo. Needless to say Maureen and Linda won! (De Boer and Lester that is). The first semi final saw Mo and Linda in a match against Jan Dando and Debbie Colquhoun where Jan and Debbie won to meet Doreen Hall and Jan Johnson in an all Indalo final after Doreen and Jan J. beat Maureen Stakes and Sue Mannall from Almeria B.C. in the other semi.

In the final Jan and Debbie were the eventual winners with a result of 19-10.

Jan then went ahead to claim the title 21-16.
